It’s EXPECTED that Asian children will be “good” at mathematics. Black people gave the world mathematics – our children stand on the shoulders of giants. If they are given the same exposure, they will be great at STEAMQ (Science, Technology, Engineering, AI, Math, and Quantum Computing) fields as well, specifically mathematics. Black Math Genius provides that exposure, bringing out the math genius in each child. In doing so we will combat the wealth gap and increase the number of Black students in STEAMQ fields over the next three decades.

Black Math Genius Bootcamp
Your child will be working alongside up to six other students grappling with and mastering grade level content that is standards based with a focus on reasoning and being mathematically literate and confident. Our sessions are virtual. Our tutors are stronger in math than most math teachers. Your child will develop a love and appreciation for mathematics that will transform their grades, test scores, and future career potential.
Black Math Genius is our suite of products, services, and courses geared toward elementary, middle, and high school students. Our children don’t have a learning gap. The adults have a belief gap – they don’t believe in our children the way that they believe in White children or Asian children doing mathematics.
BMG Bootcamp is our self-paced, parent-led program that teaches your child and family Advanced Mathematical concepts, the true origins of Mathematics, and programming for the future. Did you know that the concept behind telling time – Modular Arithmetic – is the basis for cryptography? Cryptography is a high-level of Mathematics that can be taught to young students if they have a solid foundation. We’re still graduating high school students that don’t know their multiplication tables or how to convert between decimals and fractions. That’s criminal!
Remember at Moore Math Geniuses we believe in the genius of all children no matter their grade. For tutoring, we recommend starting at 3rd grade, but if you are willing to sit with your child they can start sooner.

Absolutely Not! This program has worked and will continue to work for all children. Our focus is on Black children because out of all demographics across the country, Black children are scoring the lowest in math. When we say, “All children have genius in them!”, that includes ALL children.
Our tutoring program is year round to reduce the impact of the summer learning slide, to help students start their next school year with a head start on the curriculum, and to offer our coding program.
This varies by child and by family. If your child practices the courses and schoolwork daily, attend tutoring sessions regularly, and ask questions, they will see improvement sooner rather than later. When you check in and show interest in what your child is doing in math, they will be more encouraged to persist through the material.
We have been in the business of education, not business, for over 25 years. Our mission is to make our communities and society better. We know that when we put children in a position of success they will be adults that are healthy, happy, and wealthy when they can secure careers that will be lucrative, allowing them to own homes and invest. Further, we have a proven record of success. Many students that have gone through the BMG way of instruction have majored in STEM fields.

Our tutors are not traditional. They have backgrounds in pure mathematics, engineering, physics, and computing. Thus, they have deep conceptual understanding of content and not just procedural. This means they will help your child understand the content and not just memorize rules.
